Every month, I love sharing the books, quotes, and resources that have been stirring something in me—the same ones I find myself passing along to clients again and again. These aren’t just feel-good recommendations. They’re the things that actually change the way we think, lead, and live.
What's on my list this month?
- The New Codependency by Melody Beattie
Don't let the name put you off. Whether or not you identify as codependent, I highly recommend this book. Why? It's a must-read for anyone who has ever struggled with perfectionism, control, people-pleasing, or burnout. That's why I keep recommending it to my clients.
It’s a guide to healthier emotional habits, self-trust, and letting go of the need to manage everything (and everyone) around us. And the quizzes at the end?
Oof! Suffice to say, there’s a lot of work I can be doing on myself.
- The Quote That Keeps Finding Me
"Our deepest fear isn’t that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." – Marianne Williamson
I keep sharing this with my clients, and I swear, God wants me to hear it, too. It feels like a gift every time I say it.
So many women tell me they feel lost, lonely, or stuck in imposter syndrome—afraid they’re either too much or not enough. I know that feeling well. But the more I listen, the more I wonder: What if these aren’t the real roadblocks?
Lately, I’ve been saying this to myself and my clients: It’s time to get better problems.
I don’t think we’re stuck because we don’t know what we’re doing or because we’re broken. Those are just convenient distractions. What’s more true is that we’re afraid of what will happen if and when we fully step into our power. And when women own their power, everything changes.
This quote is my North Star. If you needed the reminder today, let it be yours too.
- A Comedy Special That Made Me Laugh Out Loud
I just watched Andrew Schulz’s new Netflix special, and wow—clever, funny, and brilliant. Fun fact: Andrew is actually related to me through my dad’s side of the family (by marriage). I love choosing shows that lift my spirits, and this one did just that.
- For My Columbus People: Only 9 Tickets Left!
If you’re local and craving a transformational gathering where real conversations happen, I’d love for you to join me. This night will be powerful, intimate, and not to be missed.
I’d love to hear what’s been inspiring you lately—reply and let me know! And if any of these sparked something in you, let’s talk. My complimentary Full of Herself coaching sessions are open, and you can schedule yours today.
Here’s to stepping into your power.
With love,
