After two weeks off, I feel ready to jump back into my work—well, mostly. Those two weeks were a mix of wonderful moments and some tough ones, too. My mind had plenty of time to wander, and not always in helpful directions.
There were moments when I questioned whether I could achieve my business goals. I doubted whether I’m an effective coach. And then, because our brains can be relentless critics, I told myself that not hitting my goals was proof that I’m not good enough.
While indulging in a bit too much chocolate, I caught myself judging my body—calling myself “fat” and “gross.” Living through the chaos of renovating the dining room at our lake house felt overwhelming, and up on a ladder, I thought, Well, I guess having a lake house doesn’t magically solve all my problems.
I’m sharing these hard moments with you because they’re real. They’re messy. And maybe, just maybe, they sound familiar to you. My hope is that by letting you in, it might lessen your shame about your own struggles.
Here’s the thing: We’re not here to be perfect. We’re here to be human.
Even in those tough moments, I kept taking care of myself the best I could. It wasn’t perfect, but I made the effort:
- I read my Al Anon literature on a few mornings.
- I walked along the beach and let the waves ground me.
- I opened up to Preston about my feelings, and in return, he shared some of his own.
- I journaled and stretched—just twice each over ten days, but it counted.
- I kept working on the dining room, little by little.
- And yes, I watched some amazing TV.
Here’s my point:
Sometimes, life isn’t about making things perfect—it’s about taking the next small step. Putting one foot in front of the other. Letting an ok day just be ok without making it worse.
Your thoughts and feelings are temporary. A new day always comes.
Your job is to decide what’s worth your precious attention—and what you need to let go of.
If your brain feels like it’s all over the place right now…if you’re struggling to trust yourself, or your confidence has taken a hit, let me help.
Schedule a free Full of Herself coaching session with me.
In this session, we’ll focus on you—your goals, your challenges, and how to get your thoughts working for you instead of keeping you stuck. It’s not about fixing you (you’re not broken!). It’s about helping you reconnect with the version of yourself that you know is in there, ready to thrive.
Why do I feel invigorated as 2025 begins, even after all this hard stuff?
Because I weathered the mini storm. I focused on doing the next right thing to feel a little better, even when it was hard.
The truth is, we often don’t realize how much energy we’re wasting stuck in thought cycles that don’t serve us. We don’t mean to make things worse, but our patterns keep us in a loop we can’t see how to break.
That’s where I come in.
I’m an expert at helping women like you rewire your thinking, so your thoughts become tools that support your growth—not obstacles in your way.
The question is: Are you ready to take the next step?
Let’s make 2025 the year you stop just “getting through” and start thriving.
You’re worth it.
With Love,
